About The Exposed Vegan
Zsa-Zsa Porter is an entrepreneur, author, speaker, plant-based endurance athlete, and mother of three who is passionate about helping others discover that true wellness extends far beyond nutrition. Through her work, she inspires people to embrace intentional living, movement, nourishment, and purpose at every stage of life.
An eleven-time IRONMAN finisher, multisport athlete, and Team USA competitor, Zsa-Zsa has built a reputation for proving that a well-planned plant-based lifestyle can fuel extraordinary performance, resilience, and longevity. As a Black female endurance athlete competing on the world stage after 50, she continues to challenge stereotypes while encouraging others to pursue goals they once believed were impossible.
Zsa-Zsa is the founder of Exposed Vegan, a wellness brand created to inspire healthier communities through nutritious food, education, and service. What began as a restaurant and food truck serving fresh plant-based cuisine evolved into a broader mission: helping people nourish their bodies, strengthen their communities, and live with purpose.
Beyond entrepreneurship, Zsa-Zsa has dedicated herself to advocacy, mentorship, and community leadership. She has encouraged countless individuals to adopt healthier lifestyles through speaking engagements, wellness initiatives, endurance sports, and community outreach.
Her journey has also been marked by profound loss and reinvention. After losing her mother to colon cancer, Zsa-Zsa discovered that nourishment became more than fuel for athletic performance—it became a pathway toward healing, resilience, and hope. This experience inspired her latest book, Fuel The Work, a memoir and wellness guide exploring grief, caregiving, entrepreneurship, endurance, and the power of continuing to show up through every season of life.
Zsa-Zsa is also the author of Running for My Life, a memoir chronicling her journey from fear and self-doubt to becoming a vegan triathlete and entrepreneur, and Level Up Journal, a guided journal designed to support healthy living, reflection, and personal growth.
A proud military spouse and devoted mother of three, Zsa-Zsa understands firsthand the challenge of balancing family, career, caregiving, and ambitious athletic goals. Whether she is training before sunrise, writing, speaking, or serving her community, her mission remains the same:
To remind others that health is wealth, healing is possible, and the journey of becoming never truly ends.
Because nutrition was never just food.
It was healing.
It was love.
It was survival.
And the work continues.
